Welcome!

The Living Room is the only daytime drop-in program in Sonoma County that specifically serves homeless and at-risk women and their children.   It fills a special niche in conjunction with other community agencies, providing clients with a place to be during the day when shelters are closed.  It is also a critical first stop for women who are the verge of becoming homeless, the first place that at-risk or newly homeless turn to for relief and referral guidance.

Open Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 1:30pm, women and children of The Living Room are served a nutritious hot breakfast and lunch in a warm and comfortable atmosphere.   The Staff Members provide information and referral services that are tailored to meet the individual needs of the women and their children.

We rely on staff and our many, wonderful Volunteers to make the program possible. Donations too, especially those on our Urgent Needs List help us meet the most basic needs of our clients. Gather with us at various Special Events which promote The Living Room in the community and set up fun events which support our services.
