Donate Food and Supplies
Donations may be dropped off Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at The Living Room, located at Church of the Incarnation, at 636 Cherry Street (between Mendocino and Humboldt).
FOOD ITEMS: Breakfast cereals, instant
oatmeal packets, fruit juices, packets of cocoa mix, jars of jam,
coffee, instant and regular, decaf and non-decaf. BASIC NEEDS: Blankets, sleeping bags,
backpacks, duffel bags, umbrellas, new women’s and children’s socks,
disposable razors, Q-tips, deodorant, sanitary pads, tampons, Kleenex,
disposable diapers, baby wipes, toothpaste, toothbrushes, dental floss,
and handwipes. PROGRAM SUPPLIES: Postage stamps,
stationary, greeting cards, pens, felt pens, and pencils. Small size
spiral notebooks, appointment calendars, address books, colored
construction paper, and craft supplies. CHILDREN’S PROGRAM: Pacifiers, teething rings, toddler
forks and spoons, children's socks sizes toddler through school age, and children's
underwear sizes 4-10 WOMENS AND CHILDREN'S CLOTHING can be brought to
Heavenly Treasurers (569-7448), a thrift shop associated with the Church of the
Incarnation, and located behind The Living Room at Mendocino Avenue.
They accept donations Monday-Friday from 10am-2pm. Women who attend The
Living Room receive vouchers for free or low-cost clothing from Heavenly Treasurers,
including career clothing, warm coats and shoes.
