The Living Room is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. We depend on grants, donations, and fundraisers to sustain our program.  Currently, 66% of our funding comes from community support. Please lend your support to our efforts by donating in any of the following areas.

SPONSOR A WOMAN OR CHILD FOR A YEAR AT THE LIVING ROOM: Last year, 927 women and children came to The Living Room. Your donation will underwrite the average annual cost to provide services to a woman or child and will provide:

  • Facility and qualified staff for essential services
  • Daily breakfast and lunch
  • Support classes for parenting, child development, and art therapy
  • Job placement assistance with newspapers, telephones and voicemail
  • Necessities, such as diapers, socks, hygeniene supplies and backpacks
  • Educational books and toys

PLEDGE GIVING: Spread your annual gift throughout the year by pledging a specific amount each month. Pledges can be made by check or credit card.
